Studying with Swoosh
You will submit your writing on our system, and a teacher will correct it and provide feedback on each of the assessment criteria, as well as an overall grade. You will then receive an email with your marked writing within 24 hours.
If you prefer to attend the classes and just listen or ask questions through chat, that is absolutely fine. However, we do recommend that for our mock speaking classes, you try to participate and speak as much as possible, as this is an opportunity for you to practice speaking and receive feedback from the teacher.
This can be found in the yellow course on your dashboard named ‘Live Classes’. Here you can also find the Zoom links. The schedule is the same every week.
You will be able to access the recordings of all live lessons. These are uploaded to your dashboard within 24 hours of the class.
No, we encourage you to study the course and materials provided through our online platform and take notes throughout the course to reinforce everything you are learning.
1:1 classes bought through the 1:1 class packages are 60 minutes. VIP package classes are 45 minutes.
Live classes vary in length from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the exam and the type of class.

Yes, our courses are designed to equip you with all the necessary skills to pass your exam. Our expert teachers will help you master your reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills.
It’s important that you make time in your schedule to study. We recommend doing short study sessions as often as you can. Our courses are structured to support you through your preparation so that you can manage your time and make the most of the materials.
This depends on the class but a typical structure could be:
- Lead-in activity where the teacher introduces the topic and asks some conversation questions
- Introduction of language or exam skill to practice

Technology Requirements
We recommend that you use a laptop or computer to complete your course and join the live classes, as you will get more out of the experience.
To make the most out of your Swoosh English learning experience, you’ll need a stable internet connection, a computer, and Zoom.
All Zoom class links will be available through your dashboard. At the scheduled class time, simpy click the link to join the virtual classroom. During the Zoom class, you can see and hear the teacher, view presentations or shared screens, ask questions, and even participate in discussions no matter where your location is.
Course Progress
It depends how much effort and dedication you put into your course and how much expert feedback you receive depending on which package you choose. For example, you get one month of access to our Intensive course, which is designed to be a crash course to help you pass in this time frame whereas you will get unlimited access to your materials until you pass with our VIP package and a lot of expert feedback which will help you pass faster.
Group classes are a great opportunity to learn from your classmates and improve. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask the teacher questions, and in the mock speaking classes, you can get the chance to practice real speaking exam tasks and get teacher feedback at the end.

After purchase, you’ll receive two emails from Swoosh English. One email will welcome you to your paid course and the other email will welcome you to Thinkific and will include the access to your course.
